- Signature Requirement
- 26,705 (10% of votes cast in last general election for 2026 cycle).
- Filing Deadline
- January 19, 2026 (10 days after the start of the legislative session).

- Review Process
- Technical review by the Lieutenant Governor and Attorney General for legal sufficiency.
- Subject Restrictions
- Cannot be used for appropriations, local/special legislation, or to create courts.

- Signatures from 7% of voters in 30 of the 40 house districts.
- Circulator Rules
- Must be 18+ and a resident of Alaska.
- Ballot Title Process
- Attorney General and Lieutenant Governor prepare the title and summary after the initiative is filed.
